Chad Hamler recently signed to a D1 Soccer program at Eastern Illinois University to continue his education and to continue playing the sport his loves. He is the very first Jefferson City boy soccer player to sign with a division one soccer program. Division one is the highest level of intercollegiate athletics overseen by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the U.S. Hamler played soccer all four, years of high school for Jefferson City High School and was a Central midfielder.


Q:What are your goals for the future?

A:“My goal for the future is to become a professional soccer player overseas or in the U.S. Hopefully I will continue playing soccer after college”.

Q:What will you miss the most when you go off to college?

A:“I’ll miss all my brothers I have been playing with my whole life.”
